To show the Find/Replace pane in tRev, go to the View menu and select Find Pane.
There is also a shortcut for this: cmd+shift+f (cntl+shift+f on Vista). Once you do this, you'll see standard find and replace fields with Find, Replace and All buttons.
The application of casesensitive and whole word find characteristics are brought to bear via a drop-down menu found at the far right of the Find pane.
Clicking Find button will find accordingly and clicking Replace will replace the next instance of the string or word you sought. Clicking All will replace all instances of the string or word.
You can also search across all tabs as you can see below. It is not recommended that you replace across all tabs.
You can also use Find when you're in the Object Browser mode:
Any time you have the find pane visible and there is a string in the find field, objects in the browser containing the find string will appear as red. This updates as you click on objects in the browser or re-click the browser's tab. You don't really even have to click Find. You will notice that, in this state, the Replace and All buttons are disabled.
